Narcan Training Facilitator
SAFE is seeking multiple Narcan Training Facilitators to educate community members, municipalities, schools, and organizations on how to recognize an overdose and administer Naloxone (Narcan).
Qualifications
Comfortable with public speaking and teaching large, diverse groups
Knowledgeable about harm reduction
Reliable transportation & valid driver’s license
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Narcan Certification
CPR Certification
Bilingual
Key Responsibilities
Conduct trainings as needed in Norfolk County and southeast Worcester County
Lead engaging, educational Narcan training sessions to groups or individuals
Educate on opioid use, harm reduction, and overdose
Positively represent SAFE and share information about our resources
Track attendance and Narcan doses distributed
Additional Info
This is an on-call position, and trainers will be contacted as needed
Additional training will be provided
Trainings may be in evenings or on weekends
Pay is $50/hr + mileage reimbursement stipend
