Narcan Training Facilitator

SAFE is seeking multiple Narcan Training Facilitators to educate community members, municipalities, schools, and organizations on how to recognize an overdose and administer Naloxone (Narcan).

Qualifications

  • Comfortable with public speaking and teaching large, diverse groups

  • Knowledgeable about harm reduction

  • Reliable transportation & valid driver’s license

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Narcan Certification

  • CPR Certification

  • Bilingual

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct trainings as needed in Norfolk County and southeast Worcester County

  • Lead engaging, educational Narcan training sessions to groups or individuals

  • Educate on opioid use, harm reduction, and overdose

  • Positively represent SAFE and share information about our resources

  • Track attendance and Narcan doses distributed

Additional Info

  • This is an on-call position, and trainers will be contacted as needed

  • Additional training will be provided

  • Trainings may be in evenings or on weekends

  • Pay is $50/hr + mileage reimbursement stipend
