Part-time Classroom Facilitator
SAFE is seeking a part-time Classroom Facilitator to teach classes for teens impacted by substance use as an alternative to traditional 10-day school suspension. Each session is 3 days and enrolls up to 5 students (grades 9–12). This role is based at our Franklin, MA office.
Qualifications
Undergraduate or graduate degree in Sociology/Psychology
OR 3 years within the social services field
Experience working with youth
Background in leadership roles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Valid driver’s license and available, dependable transportation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide substance use education using a set curriculum focused on restorative justice, substance use, and healthy decision-making.
Create a safe, trusting, and therapeutic classroom environment.
The Classroom facilitator should feel confident working with teens and discussing topics such as community issues, substance misuse, mental health, and environmental risks.

Schedule: 20 hours/week, Tuesday–Thursday
Pay: $36/hour
