International Overdose
Awareness Day
Last year, 978 people died from overdose in Massachusetts.
International Overdose Awareness Day, established in 2001, is a worldwide event held each year to remember those who have died or suffered because of overdose and to reduce the stigma associated with drug-related deaths.
Join us to remember and honor loved ones we've lost.
Memorial Flag Displays
This year, SAFE will work with community members to place memorial flags across the county. Each flag honors a life lost and stands as a reminder that no one grieves alone. Anyone can help, and all are welcome!
