Ann Bergen
President
Dr. Anne Bergen has had a career in education spanning nearly fifty years. As a former teacher, principal and chair of the Franklin School Committee, her focus has been on the emotional health and well-being of young people. Anne represents SAFE on the Mental Health and Well-Being Task Force of the Franklin Public Schools. She co-hosts, with Jim Derick, a radio/podcast for SAFE, with a focus on having individuals share their stories of hope and recovery. As a member of the Franklin Community Cable Access Board of Directors, she has promoted the mission of SAFE, and as a Board of Managers volunteer at the Bernon Family Branch of the Hockomock YMCA she has worked to promote the charitable causes that are essential to the well-being of individuals and families in our communities.
