Anthony Tuffo
Narcan trainer
I grew up on the South Shore and right after high school, I obtained my EMT-B certification and then Paramedic license. I worked in EMS for 8 years until I sustained a spinal cord injury at age 26. From there, I transitioned into Medical Lab Sciences, now working in hospital laboratory leadership.
Â
Joining the team at SAFE as a Narcan Trainer is incredibly exciting for me because Narcan saved my life. As an opiate overdose survivor now in long- term recovery, I profoundly understand the importance and urgency of increasing the supply and knowledge of Narcan in the community.
Â
When I’m not working, I’m spending time with my beautiful wife and two amazing boys, working out at the Y, or watching the Pats!
