We are trained and certified in trauma-informed approaches and are a local leader in collaborative care. At SAFE, we are proud to have worked within judicial, housing, and state mental health programs, which increase opportunities for well-rounded care for Franklin residents. We know that when we partner and collaborate with other systems of care, those we support are afforded the greatest opportunity for success. Often, those seeking housing either lack stable support or are in a financial position that could force them to vacate their property in the near future. With ARPA funding, we are excited to implement a variety of approaches. This funding allows for one-on-one housing planning with our case manager, helping clients complete local, state, and federal paperwork associated with short- and long-term housing needs. It also provides for emergency placement when needed and access to information about available housing support and how to utilize it. When you come into our rooms, you are no longer alone but among friends who have experienced similar challenges. Any concerned person is encouraged to attend our meetings, even if there is only a suspicion of a problem. Your identity is protected in our meetings. We know each other by our first names only. < Back Jennifer Knight-Levine CEO | Co-Founder Jknight-levine@safecoalitionma.org I am a graduate of both Franklin High School and Framingham State University and began my career in the field of mental health in 2008. Starting in Massachusetts, I worked with adults in recovery from mental illness and later worked with adolescents in the foster care system in southern California. During my time in California my work primarily focused on implementing a groundbreaking three-year health and wellness state research contract dedicated to developing alternative holistic therapies to encourage behavioral and emotional self-regulation, increasing family relationships, and decreasing the use of psychotropic medication. In 2014, I began a doctoral program at Pacifica Graduate Institute in Depth Psychology with an emphasis on Community, Liberation, and Eco-psychology. Upon moving back to Massachusetts, I returned to working with adults in recovery and am dedicated to supporting those in the community who are affected by opioid addiction. As a Franklin Girls Ice Hockey alumni, I am an avid Bruins fan, an enthusiast of the mountains, and a lover of country music.
